What can I do? First of all... PRAY

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
May they be secure who love you!
Peace be within your walls and
Security within your towers!
For my brothers and companions sake
I will say “Peace be within you!”
For the sake of the house of the Lord, our God,
I will seek your good.
— Psalm 122:6-9

We have been touched by the variety and amount of people reaching out to our staff to ask what is needed at this time.  Honestly, the needs are various and vast… and it’s somewhat overwhelming at times. As we are compiling specific needs and ways the Body can care for our staff, students and families, our first inclination is towards prayer.

Our staff in prayer this week as the final plans are made regarding our new distance education program called RA Away.

Our staff in prayer this week as the final plans are made regarding our new distance education program called RA Away.

RA believes strongly in the power of prayer. Our staff spent a lot of time via video conferencing in prayer this week and we want to invite you to join us.  We will be doing a weekly (perhaps bi weekly) prayer request and praise updates to all of our supporters through our e-blast and blog. Make sure you subscribe to our blog and are able to receive our e-blast.

Our specific prayers for this week:

for the safety and health of our staff and students as we are distanced from each other.

that this situation will draw our families closer to God, who is in control.

that the childcare needs and employment needs are fulfilled for our parents who have to work during this time.

against any anxiety or other feelings of confusion and chaos.

that this season of illness passes quickly.

that the recommended "social distance" doesn't become spiritual and emotional distance.

for the continued financial support of Restoration Academy and all of the non-profits / ministries who will be relied upon in the coming weeks and months
