RA College & Career Vision
The College & Career program at Restoration Academy is focused on CALLING and focused on FIT. Our vision is for every Restoration Academy graduate to step into a postsecondary path that is a strong and joyful fit for who they are and how God has uniquely gifted them. We desire for students to find a place where they can grow academically, socially, spiritually, and vocationally, and where they are prepared to serve God and others with purpose. Because each student is fearfully and wonderfully made, we encourage them to prayerfully consider where their abilities, passions, and opportunities come together, trusting that the Lord will faithfully guide them to the place He has prepared.
RA College & Career Mission
The Restoration Academy College and Career Program exists to walk closely with students and families as they prayerfully discern the plans the Lord has for life after high school. Rooted in the promise of Jeremiah 29:11, we trust that God’s plans for students are plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give them hope and a future. It is our great honor to help students discover those plans and take their next step with confidence, peace, and faith. We come alongside students as they grow in understanding of who God has created them to be. Through thoughtful counsel, intentional preparation, and meaningful relationships, we support students as they explore their interests, develop their gifts, and discern their calling.
Our Approach
The College and Career Program is designed to grow with each student, beginning with broad exploration in the early years and becoming more personal and intentional as students mature. We emphasize student ownership and responsibility, helping students develop the confidence and independence needed for life beyond Restoration Academy. Throughout the process, we partner closely with parents and seek to reduce anxiety by walking patiently with each family. We believe God cares deeply for each student as an individual and will clearly lead them as they seek Him. With that confidence, we approach this work with joy, humility, and hope, trusting that the Lord will reveal each student’s next step in His perfect time.
